Hi everybody !
I am a new to this forum but have some experience with non-OEM cartridges for Epson (AKA comparable with Epson cartridges) and would like to share it and also see others opinion in order to know what sites/resellers provide good quality comparable Epson cartridges/inks. So I had Epson C86 and ordered replaced cartridges through eBay from seller --> http://www.circesdad.com/EpsonCat.htm . The black one was good, but when I installed their cyan cartridge - printouts became blurred, after several cleanings and heads adjustments I got completely blank pages and was not be able even get back to normal black and white prints. Fortunately I had a warranty from Frys electronic for this printer one replacement. They gave me Epson C88 and recently I was out of original Epson ink and ordered 5 cartridges on eBay seller http://www.bestdu.com/home.php . Oh - I dont know why I did it without checking forums for Epson cartridges, maybe because was in a hurry to print some docs during weekend.. but at once I installed the black one all mess started. I did everything as it was recommended - cleaned the heads before installing, shacked the new cartridge, removed the sticker from the top and installed it. After that I also cleaned the heads one time and printed the sample page. The quality of the printouts was very very bad ! All black words and sentences were blurred and cut on peaces. I run the heads cleanings several times but the results still were the same. So I decided even do not try others your color cartridges assuming that they all have the same bad ink quality. So I went to my local office depot and bought 4 original Epson cartridges for my C88, .. yeaaaa - $60 , very expensive :( But after installed the original Epson black cartridge prints became excellent ! So for me it proofs that problem was in a bad quality of cartridge/ink which I got from BestDu seller.
---- That is why I am here and would like to see others people experiences what was your good or bad time with any resellers/web stores for Epson comparable cartridges, because we all want to buy good quality cartridges (of course not the same like original) which at least can give us acceptable printouts. Thanks to everybody who will replay to my post !

Try to find a seller who sells G&G compatibles. When I started my business 5 yrs ago, I gave out samples of compatibles to a number of customers to try out. The G&Gs had the fewest complaints and returns...

Epson sued a group of 3rd party resellers and manufacturers last year for patent infringement of spongeless ink cartridges. G&G was one of the companies sued by Epson. G&G stoped selling their brand of Epson compatible spongeless ink cartridges since then. G&G is not the only manufacturer in China that makes spongeless ink cartridges. What's available today are probably remaining stock of G&G made cartridges or new imports made by other manufacturers in China.
