Quick update my end...

1. The RBL Blacklist on the PK IP address has apparently been expunged
2. I can see that there's an SPF and DKIM setting on the DNS record for Printerknowledge now too

So, here's trying to swap the account email once again to see if we're up or not.

... and it works!

I'm almost certain that the reason emails weren't reaching a large number of people was due to increased use of RBL (Blacklists) for spam email sender domains/ip's. On CPanel / WHM based hosts that's a default setting and it seems if anything is coming from a blacklisted domain/IP then it doesn't even trigger a spam notification or log message, it just gets rejected completely.

One key piece of constructive criticism regarding the way this was handled...

Whoever responded to my support ticket needs to reconsider their approach and attitude to support issues. I was frankly livid when I got a response that ignored a lot of detailed information that made it clear that a serious problem existed, and decided to just reset my password.

Sending this...
Hi.

Nope. Everything is fine here.

I found your account linked to your "foo@gmail.com" address and took the liberty to reset your password.
... is not going to go down well.

Great eye! We found / made a bunch of changes last night!
... and it works!
WOOT! Great to hear it's making a difference!

I'm REALLY sorry you had a poor experience with that support response. I'll look into it and see what changes / corrections can be made to create a better experience in the future!

I just got another email notification for @palombian 's last entry, but I'm getting these notifications for this thread only, not for updates on any other threads, the settings in my user preferences are ' Automatically watch content you interact with.....
and receive email notifications ' both options are checked.
This would imply for me that I would get such email notifications as well for updates of other threads I contributed to as well....???? but I don't - how is the system working ?

I seem to receive a mail for every alert (under the bell icon upper right).

Didn't annoy others with pm's since ;).

I don't , and I don't recall that I ever deactivated emails for other threads in the past, I just get alert emails for this and only thread - even for my own postings.
