Pro9000 Mark11 Cartridges all flashing except 1, won't print

I had a cartridge low last week and changed it. Shut printer cover and proceeded to print a page. got message cartridge not recognized. opened cover and all cartridges except 1 were flashing. i changed all 1x1 and still won't print. i had been using generic cartridges for long time. i had a few genuine cartridges and they flash and say not recognized also. forgot to say, while changing cartridges I found 1 i had installed a week before that still had the strip of tape on it
any suggestions?

Turn the printer on and remove all the cartridges. Turn the printer off at the mains supply. Reset/refill all your cartridges. Refit the cartridges. Turn the printer on. Report back on the result.

Well thanks and I want to say, I am going back to refilling the cartridges! I used German method for several years and loved it, but had trouble with a cartridge last year and bought the generics...mistake Thanks again
