Sorry to jump in about the printhead, we might learn something.

I was convinced (with the PRO 9500) that a clear separation (half a color) in the nozzle check indicates an electric problem.
At first the half is of lighter color.

I never could clear this by cleaning and accepted this as an announcement of the end.
After a while or you get a general printhead failure or half of some colors blank.

New problem. How do I reset a B200 Error on the Pro-1? Or at least get the Ink Doors open with the orange light flashing?

What were you doing to the printer at the time or what was happening just before you got this error message. ?

I had done a few deep cleans and then switched it off. When I came back to it and restarted it came up with this error.

Repeated deep head cleans can easily cause the dreaded B200 error in any print head because they stress the hell out of the nozzles and should only be done once every 24 hours, this is to give the head a chance to recover and cool down, I’m sorry but your latest actions have completely fried the print head.

OK let’s start again, the head on your printer is kaputt, dead bang down the hole, and it’s not coming back, and all you are doing is wasting ink and filling the waste ink cartridge up mighty fast.

After you did the couple of deep head cleans and there was no difference in the nozzle check, there was no more you could have done, and it was time to move on at that point,

I will repeat what I said in post #10 you have two choices, your either get a new print head and a complete set of new cartridges and start again, or stop wasting your money with this machine and find a hole to dump it in, my advice would be to invest the saved €’s in a Pro 9500 ll or Pro 10...

Here are instructions on how to get to the ink cartridges without powering on the printer...

Caution be aware this machine is intelligent so do not remove any of the wire clips, the latch to open the doors can be accessed with this method...

P.S. this method should be carried out with the power plug still in the wall but the printer turned off..
