My method 10 seconds.. The dribble method a minute or longer, depending on ability..

Advantage of the dribble method with sqeeze bottles is you don't have to clean anything.

Sorry, but the drip system seems to me an unnecessary loss of time. Refilling a totally empty PGI-72 requires pouring 250-300 droplets of ink, one after the other. You can’t do that in a few seconds. unless you don’t mind overspill, stains and mess. Using a refill plug and a syringe takes 9 seconds ( I’m a tad faster than @The Hat.. :p )
Yes one has to clean syringes and needles afterwards but, altogether it takes less time than with the drip system,

My method for PGI-72 cartridges:

1- Weight the cart. with the bottom clip on, to know how much ink I’ll have to inject to reach 33 gr. ( 14 ml of ink=15 gr. except Chroma optimizer which is 14 gr)
2- Remove bottom clip. Reset.
3- Insert the refill plug, fill the syringe with the required amount of ink and refill the cart upside down.
4- Remove refill plug; insert regular bottom clip. Weight again to check if we’re in the ball park - 32.5-33.5g is OK. (1 gr less for CO )

My scale is not calibrated (either ?).
I used to fill without clip (=2g) to 31-31.5g.
Without clip the cart is filled to the rim at 33g.

It’s looks like I’ll have to pass the hat onto to you as the fastest refiller.. ;)
The dribble method is out of the question when filling 20 or 30 carts at one time..

Are your cartridges OEM or aftermarket?

If OEM, please post a link to instructions on making the plug hole and where to purchase plugs for fellow forum members.
