I have a Mac.
I found a number of articles about printing multiple images on a single page. The first link does not need any third party software. Then there are links about performing this function using different software.

There are some videos as well that demonstrate the process with the native Mac Photo app. The first video shows the overall procedure. The second video seems to perform the same function but in a slightly different manner. In this second video you can see where to click to get nine images on the page as you desired. Seems there are multiple ways of accomplishing the same task.

Can it be done?! I could do this in Picasa, but that is not an option anymore.
I have an Epson 1430.

Fotor has a nice random capability that allows you to put many photos on one sheet, sizing, rotating, and arranging them any way you wish. I have put up to 15 photos on one 8.5X11 sheet. More can be put on but the photos became too small.

I am a Win 10 and occasional Linux MInt user, but Fotor and HP PC are free and available for MAC. Google them for a download. They should work fine with your Epson printer.
Digital Editor will install on Mac but is no longer available.
I use these often. They each take about 10 minutes to learn the basics.

The print module of Zoner photo studio could handle this. My most recent experience is with Version 17 free, but it looks like there is no longer a completely free version. I also found that the photo preview and indexing system was very fast. You can save to PDF as well, and save the print job parameters.

I have had really good results from Qimage Ultimate. This program has the advantage of being able to read raw files, and has a really good choice of interpolation of images that need to be upscaled in a really big way. If you have a Mac, Qimage One is available. Both have 14-day demos.
