This morning I found my Epson WF-35640 completely shut off. There is power to the device. Is there a reset/breaker/fuse involved? Or has the printer simply decided to die?
Same story for mine after a little more than 2 years of daily use. I got another on promo thereafter. Before disposing, remove the maintenance tank and put it on the replacement. That way you now have a new replacement waste ink tank.
You can tell these machines are only made to last so long... if the electronics don't hit, then there will be wear after much use.
It's like renting the use of the printer body so ink can be dispensed. Not sure you own the printer but own the right to use it until Epson decides you've used it enough.
