Another: Is the OP using WiFi to transmit from computer to printer? If so then use only a proper USB cable connection.

Guys, thank you very much for all your inputs. I talked to Canon helpdesk and they confirmed that problem exist due to the connectivity, hence need to use cable and not wifi.
