I hope this isnt off topic but has anyone tried to print on other mediums with any success? I have been interested in making personalized wrapping paper from tissue paper and I have a wonderful idea for a birthday gift involving printing on toilet paer. Are these things even possible to do? Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Are you wanting to print on tissue wrapping paper or on toilet paper that you would use for wrapping paper?
Are you wanting to print something on sheets of toilet paper or on a whole (or partial) roll of toilet paper?

Lot of thing can be done to toilet paper. I did embroidery on the first square of a roll of toilet paper and displayed in the guest bathroom. It is a talking piece.

You may be able to print it using the CD tray. The problem, you may encounter, is ink bleeding.

Another idea is to print your design on T-shirt transfer and iron onto the toilet paper.

Delicate papers might rip with the paper feeder mechanism. I don't know about yours but my ip4600's rear tray feeder is a pretty violent mechanism and is a relatively small roller wheel so it could end up ripping things as delicate as tissue.

Unless the specific medium you plan to print on is coated for inkjet printing you probably will not get vibrant colors as you expect. I have tried to print one fairly thin and delicate paper made for oriental art and there was no problem feeding it through the printer. But I did not get the colors I hoped to get.
