Prining on CDs with a Canon printer

I am not sure if this topic has appeared on this forum, but Canon printers that have the ability to print directly on CDs have this feature disabled in the US due to a patent issue. The first link gives a looooong thread on this topic where a solution is finally found. The second link gives a summary of the final "how to".

I was planning on starting a thread about CD Printing but Grandad beat me to it.
I bought my canon printer in the Philippines, at almost double the price of their US counterparts. It does have the CD Printing feature though.
Have a good time printing on CDs too. Even if I can't find any printable CD-Rs. All I do is stick the label on the CD and insert it on the CD tray on my printer just like any printable CD-Rs.
