Pre-filled BCI-6 carts for Formulabs and Imaging Systems

Does anyone have any recommendations on where Formulabs and Imaging Systems pre-filled Canon BCI-6 carts can be found? Based on a search alotofthings.com's Procolors may be Formulabs. I have an e-mail into them. Not sure about IS sources, however.

Alotofthings.com is the primary seller of bulk Formulabs ink and if Joe says that Procolors are indeed filled with Formulabs ink you can rely on his assurances. I believe you mean Image-Specialists instead of Imaging Systems. If that's the case, MIS (inksupply.com) sells their bulk ink but I'm not so sure about the prefilled cartridges. There have been reports that MIS doesn't guarantee their cartridges have IS ink. www.weink.com is the other main US distributor of IS ink. You may want to email them to verify if they do sell prefilled tanks with IS ink.

Here is an email I sent to alotofthings.com :

Are any of the BCI-6 cartridges you sell (listed below) filled with Formulab ink?

ArrowJet/SkyHorse - Butterfly Print Image - G&G - MMC - MyInk - Nectron - ProColor - VVG

I would like to refill with bulk Formulab ink and would prefer to buy carts that start out with the same ink.

For refilling purposes I believe the ProCoor are the best.

Thanks for the clue on pre-filled carts with Formulabs ink. I am using pre-filled and want the best ink so any more information will be appreciated.

MSI got back to me:

Q: Do you sell any pre-filled Canon BCI-6 carts with Imaging Systems ink?
A: Our $5.00 Canon aftermarket carts say Premium Image Products on them

So like you say, who knows.

And Alotofthings confirmed use of Formulabs in ProColor carts:

ProColor uses Sensient Imaging Technologies, Formulabs Division inks
in their canon compatible cartridges.
