Just before I sat down to dinner, I looked at my Canon Pro-100 and powered it down. I was done printing for the day and thought about something I learned how it's not good to leave it powered on because a power outage would cause a large amount of ink loss when it comes back up. Well, we had a rare power outage last night. I was excited because after my old laptop had died I just bought a new one a couple of weeks ago. I used my smartphone as a hotspot to get back online and continued playing on the internet.

A large amount of ink loss on the Pro-100 is still a LOT LOT LESS than a normal head cleaning on an Epson!
If you were using OEM ink, then that might be a real concern but when refilling, it really is nothing to really worry about especially when used in conjunction with a resetter. Relax and ease the tension about ink costs.
