you can use the reverse Durchstich method, but there will be still ink inside the sponge: this should be blown out, or you will get a colour shift gradually during printing when the "old" ink is washed out by the "newer" ink, which can be seen if there is a significant colour difference.
I forgot one thing: you should close the refill hole of the Durchstich method when you blow the ink out into the ink bottle or you will have a horizontal ink jet spilling all over you desk..... If you don't mind you can use your finger (there will be only a small stain on top of it).
