Pixma 5000 CD Printing Function

Hi Gang and Merry Xmas from New Zealand,
Down here the Pixma 5000 came out with a CD/DVD Printing capability as standard,unlike the North American Model that had to be adapted
My Problem is after two years of good CD/DVD Printing My Pixma 5000 Just wont Print CD or DVD Media,everything else is "Honkey Dory" and works just Fine..
It takes the CD in but then after almost Printed just spits it out and says please Insert again etc etc??

Any ideas on what may be wrong???Could it be the Ink pad is in need of Replacement and Reseting??

Have you tried a different CD Tray? Maybe after two years of printing you have worn out the reflective portions or changed the tolerances of the plastic nooks and crannies such that the printer has a tough time recognizing the tray as appropriate.

Maybe Santa is bringing you a new tray or even printer tonite.
