John Wayne did the stunt at the end but it was a fearless stuntman, Yakima Canutt, who did most of the horse hopping and falling. Amazing.

Yeah, I've watch that recently. What amazed me was that:

Everyone arrived from elsewhere via stagecoach. Ahhh...there as this thing called the Transcontinental Railroad that founded the town...

The roads in that show are so smooth and wide, complete with tire tracks.

I'm surprised there's any at all! The area is huge and desolate. I hope it stays that way.
