Partial clogged head (Canon 560)? But, just one color.

Cyan appears to be partially clogged. It prints out an alternating light, then dark horizontal 'bar' pattern (horizontal stripes if you will) when a solid cyan color test page is printed. The only way it prints uniformally is to use the 'high' mode (full saturation).

I have taken the print head out and soaked it in 'Windex' and ran hot water over the head before and after I did this, but no change.

The other 2 colors and black print fine.

Is this a 'clogged' head or something else?

Would putting some alchohol in the area where the cyan tank would go and running a few pages help?

You might want to try blowing some compressed air through the cyan print head.
