It's similar but to be honest getting the case apart is different and it has been waaaaay too long since I did the iP4200 so, for the purposes of this offer, go for it, I'll honour it for an iP4500.
It may be several weeks before I could get to it so I'll check back when ready.

Wouldn't you need two of your kits for most Canon printers--one for pigment ink and one for dye ink?
That would only apply if you wanted to separate them out for any reason. If it's for ink-reuse it's not something I'd recommend... but if push came to shove it'd be possible to provide two tanks if needs be.
No, I don't want to reuse ink, it's just that I didn't see anything in the picture that looked like it could combine the output from two sources.
Ah, I see the confusion...

You're right about the indicated kit but in reality I was just providing something as a product to purchase as a sort of down-payment/deposit, not the actual kit anyone would be getting for this particular job...

The actual kit will comprise of:
- a tank part (currently leaning towards the bag type, to limit drying action of any air)
- a number of different connector types and sizes including reducers/expanders and 90' elbows to facilitate "best path" choices.
- an all important 'Y' connector to covert the tube inputs down to a single tube for connection to the tank.
- A reasonable amount of tube to allow for cutting, adjustments, etc..

It'll adapt as feedback comes in but hopefully that clears up the initial confusion about kit.
