Have you found the HP glossy to be compatible? I've tried the one with the coating on the back with the HP logo running diagonally and I have not found it a favorable paper to use on the Epson printers. It takes much longer to dry and you can see sort of like an etched effect on the surface on high contrast demarcation lines of the image.
Do you have any Red River of Epson Luster? I find that even OEM inks will display the common effects of Pigment inks. Only a Gloss Optimizing coating seems to solve it.
I still end up having use my GLOP Dedicated Epson 1400 to over coat prints when they require it.
As long as the color properties are much better, and you agree that they are right? Then I can put up with any other minor roblems. The price of these OCP inks ares simply too good not to consider using them.
So it would seem that only certain papers would affected more than others. The same goes for most other ink sets.
