New (used) Pro-1

Hello and happy New Year
My Pro-1 is dripping CO on the paper and it use 2 cartridge in one hour :-(
So I took the Printhead out and could see that the blank foil under the plastik cover was leaking.
So now I am looking for at new (used) Pro-1 printer.

How do I make at test to check if a used Pro-1 printer is in good shape before I buy?
Or should i buy another mode, like Pro-200 ?

That’s your best option, Pro 1 print heads are as scares as hens teeth..

Yea i know,
It´s my 3. Pro-1 but it make som damm nice prints, and I still have a lot of ink.
There are some used for sale in my region, so I just wondred if there was a trick to test before buy.

Go see the printer for sale at its home base, and take along one of your own prints to test, also make sure you get them to print a nozzle check..

Then decide if the purchase is worth the price on offer..

It depends where you live, if there is no local availability going to another city is not an option for most users

You are correct, but paying good money for a near useless piece of junk is not a good option either..

Buying used printer almost every time is buying junk, except maybe laser printers

I have been the recipient of a couple of 2nd hand printers, and they worked just as good as any new printer out of the box..
