What I meant to say was that the printer itself is very expoutensive. If you clog the print head or burn it out.

The Pro9500 is such an expensive printer you don't want to risk damaging it from refilling. One dead print head will offset all the savings from refilling for a long time. Besides, you probably will need to profile the 3rd party ink. That's a lot of work and money plus time that you may not have. Pro9000 is cheap these days it is a printer more suitable for tampering with refilling.

I got my i9950 back when Adam was a boy, it cost me 25% more than the pro 9500 did.
Thats one of the reasons why I bought it + pigment ink, instead of the pro9000..

Ahhh, the i9950 uses dye ink. I can't understand what you are saying.

I suppose I should have explained it better, the i9950 cost me more than pro9500 did when I first bought it and I now have the pro9500.
It was in reference to leo8088 statement below.

leo8088:- The Pro9500 is such an expensive printer you don't want to risk damaging it from refilling
I chose the pro9500 over the pro9000 at the time because it had all pigment inks.
I hope this clarifies everything; I should have to make things a little clearer sorry.. :|
