so i have a question. maybe noob question but if i refill the cartridges of canon mp270, can i reset cartridge readings by this way?

Yes, I have same question too, how to reset the ink level back to full indication on my MX 328?

I see that people are willing to hack resetters. Has anybody hacked a resetter to power it by USB?

Trying to reset an ip4600, not having any luck getting this thing to be detected in service mode.

XP comes up with found new hardware canon device, but the printer is not showing up in the selectable usb ports in the rest software.

There is also no driver available for "canon device"


Anybody reset an ip4600 before?


**NM Got it, just used a laptop with success, device still had no drivers installed for those wondering.

Now looking at eeprom dump to see where waste tank is at, can anybody point me in right direction? (still going to do a search on here, but may be useful for others)

**found it thanks to another poster the d= value near the top shows percentage.
