New Project - MP Select Mini Fan Cover & LED Light

I'm really happy with how this turned out!

I was tired of using my flashlight to watch the first layer be laid down, so I basically remixed a remix

I took this snap-on fan cover: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2131734

...and modified it with:

1. Added an extension arm with an angled end to point towards the nozzle
2. Inserted holes for a couple LED's (either 3mm or 5mm) at an angle.
3. Added some wire clips to the side!

It's awesome! It travels and follows the nozzle perfectly so I see a great spot-light on the most important area!

I’d sooner buy a bigger 3D printer than the Pro 1000, far more interesting..

I thought about that, and it's all pretty negligible (as far as I can tell), and it hasn't seemed to cause any problems so far

(honestly, I have the same thought about the initials spinner I added to the filament feeder, but all seems to be ok)

@Nifty, That looks far better this time, obvious this little printer is being the best out you and is showing you how to make things even better...

Just think of how many guys are missing out, by not having a 3D printer, Feck Coke, I’m loving it...

You don't need to wait to get onboard with these things. There are public facilities to start learning with these machiness, without shelling out the costs. There's also some audio video facilities as well.

I like these sort of public workshops but I have to wonder why the US Embassy is involved in a local Canadian library offering.
