If you upload a scan or photo of the EEPROM print out I can translate what I know.

The Pro-1 service manual has no info about deciphering the EEPROM info, but by using info from other service manuals I am able to decipher most of the Pro-1 info.

Starting from the top:

PRO-1 = Printer type. SN=xxxx =Serial Number. USA = Country/Region the printer is intended for. V1.080 = Firmware version. ST = Start Time = Time of installation in format yyyy.mm.dd - hh.mm. LPT = Last Print Time = time for last print without errors. Same time format as LPT.

D=000.0 is ink absorber usage in %. 0 means no ink in the absorber, 100.0 means the absorber capacity is used up. DF is an calculated/estimated number of months to absorber change becoming necessary, based on usage pattern. Ignore this value. W=000.0 = wetting liquid counter. 0 means not used and 100.0 means used up. I think this is also some kind of absorber.

ER (...........) This is a list of the last recorded errors. 10 errors can be recorded, only two are recorded. ER0=1270 means Feed Slot Error. It is a user error when using the manual feed. This is a harmless operator call error. ER1=B200. Normally this is serious. It is a service call error meaning that the print head voltage is abnormal and the print head has failed electronically. But as the printer seems to work normally, I think the error was triggered by some condition during first install and setup of the printer, print head and cartridges. Hopefully it can be ignored.

CHOKE1, CHOKE2, CHOKE3. I don't know what this is, but the printer has a special ink supply system. The value is a time in the same format as LPT. It might be related to the 45 day flush mentioned by The Hat.

TPAGE(TTL=00012) means 12 pages in total were printed.

CH0001 means Count Head =1. This means the print head was installed and never changed or removed from the printer.

CT( LGY=001............) This means Count (ink) Tanks. The value of one for all cartridges means the printer is on its first set of cartridges.

IL( LGY=2.........) IL= Ink Level. This is probably the same as IS= Ink Status for other printers. Ink Status has 4 values. 0=full, 1=middle, 2=low and 3=empty.

P_ON(S=00008) means the printer was turned on 8 times.

A_REG=1, M_REG=0 means the print head was aligned 1 time using automatic alignment and 0 times using the manual alignment.

IF(USB2=1) means the USB2 InterFace is in use.

ASF PAGE(All=00012 PP=00005 Photo1=00002 Photo2=00005 Photo3=00000 Matto=00000 PC=00000 FA=00000) All=12= total number of printed pages. PP=5 means 5 pages printed on Plain Paper. Photo1, Photo2 and Photo3 must be 3 types of photo paper Matto=? PC=Post Card and FA=?

MF PAGE(ALL=00000) means manual feed pages. None were printed. I think All means all formats.

DCDP(All=00000) This is camera direct printed pages. None were printed. I think All means all formats.

EDGE=00002 means 2 borderless prints were made.

SIZE(A3=00000 A4=00012...........) This is a list of the prints made in various formats. Only 12 A4 prints were made.

CDR=00000 No CDs were printed.

CDRP (.........) is CDR Position correction value. CDRS (....) is CDR Sensor correction value. I think these values are factory calibration values.

LF(.....) is a Line Feed correction value. I think this is a factory calibration value.

INK_OFF(LGY=0...........) As all values are 0, this means that Ink level monitoring was never turned off to allow printing with refilled cartridges. If any of the values are 1 this means that that the ink level was turned off. Warranty would then be void.

WD_LAN (MAC........) is the printers WireD Mac address.

LP_WD=00000 means no pages were printed using the LAN connection.

The printer was first installed in February this year. But I wonder when the printer was made, as newer Pro printers seem not to be able to enter service mode by the user. Does the firmware version = V1.080 tell anything?
