Fixed that location in my profile.
It's good to know about Staples (that's where I bought the printer) and Costco paper sales.
I'm now off, to learn about that ICC and RGB and whatever else letters to learn, when it comes to printing.
I don't sell pictures, but I distribute headshots, postcards of them and business cards with them.

So I guess people use the 8.5x11 and just cut the edges to make it 8x10?

Thank you

Thanks for all the helpful advice I've got.
I bought the printer and printed a couple of pictures.
So far so good, I love the results.
I have also ordered the resetter and the ink. As soon as the items arrive and I'm in the need of my first fill, I will let you know how it went.
I decided to give the first refill a try, with the cartridges that came with the printer, before going the clear cartridge route and replacing chips etc.

I'm in the need of some 8X10 matte and glossy photo papers.
I found a site called Redriver paper, is this a good place to go for that, or are there better/cheaper alternatives?

Thanks again
I have been using Red River Papers for a couple of years, and am very pleased with the result. They have a wide range, stock multiple sizes and have customer service second to none.

Their website is a goldmine of information, and they sell a very reasonably priced sample pack of all their papers. Frequent special pricing and discounts are offered if you get on their mailing list.

I also find their profiles work reasonable well with Image Specialist inks. Not a good as a custom profile but a good start.

Only problem for me is that the shipping costs to Canada tend to be a bit high, so orderin\g small quantities is expensive.

FYI another paper which seems to work well with Canon and IS inks is the Ilford line, which is very economical from B&H, and again great service.

I know I sound like a fan boy, ;-( but the above has been my experience, YMMV.

My 2 cents.
