After I look at a thread on the "New Posts" page, it disappears from the page. If I want to look at the post again, I have to search for the sub-forum where the thread resides. Also, when I make a post, that thread never appears on the "New Posts" page (probably since I already looked at the post when I entered it). Is this an option that can be changed - I prefer the way that the New Posts page worked in the old system, where the most recent posts from all sub-forums remained in chronological order.

Thoughts by others???

Great question! When you click "New Post" you'll see a tab / link for "Recent Posts". This will basically show you all the recent posts in a long list like you use to have on the homepage of the site.

You can also bookmark the recent posts link here: http://printerknowledge.com/find-new/posts?recent=1

Does this help?

You can also find a short list of previously viewed "new" posts by clicking on either the "Recent" or "New" tabs on the upper right hand of the page under your avatar and name. (four tabs under your avatar on the upper right hand side -- Recent, Active, New, Popular)

The power of this software keeps revealing itself.

Great reminder stratman!

The "Recent" tab to the top right of every page shows the top 5 list that is the same as the first 5 "Recent Posts" list which is the same as the "Recent Posts" we use to have at the bottom of the index page of the forum. :D

Perhaps, if you can @Nifty it would be worth adding a link to the panel that says "more..." and takes you to the new posts page. Would make things more intuitive maybe?

Hmm... it's a good idea, but I don't know that I can easily do that on the widget. I'll put it on the list, but maybe there is another solution.

Did you mean a button directly to this link, opening a page similar to the the old "Recent posts"? I'm sure such a button would be welcomed by many, me included.

Ok, this should satisfy everyone's need for a quick link! :D

I've added a link to the very top of the header here:

Excellent work Rob. Now us Galahs can find out what is new without having to ask Stratman.
