That looks amazing. Must be one of the biggest object I've ever seen made with a domestic 3D printer. Worthy of the Guinness Book of Records (or at least a Guinness).
Hell, it's probably the biggest lighted structure in Ireland! No wonder The Hat used pallets to climb up to crown his structure. Can you imagine the fun replacing light bulbs?Must be one of the biggest object I've ever seen made with a domestic 3D printer.

@Nifty, I bought 33 rolls of filament from 3DQF in the UK, because they were doing a special price on the black filament @ £12.99 a roll, so the cost was £428 divided by 4 months = £25 a week, because once I started, I wasn’t thinking of anything but the end and price didn’t come into it.Total print time was probably like a few hundred hours!
Ha ha, I taught of that, so the top crown have two securing pins in them and lift off easily to gain access to the bulbs, but it does require a step ladder.. Or a shite load of pallets again…Can you imagine the fun replacing light bulbs?
Quite an impressive stress test. A tough little machine.the CR-10 keep going almost without a hitch for over 1400 hours
