all 3rd party dye inks walk off the paper much sooner than we’d like and that’s the plain facts.
oh well - I can tell you - it is even worse sometimes - it's like the inks are even running off and not just walking off.

But the focus of Aardenburg this time is more on the impact different media have - on the same printer - with the same pigment inks - e.g. with Lucia Pro inks on a Pro-1000 - results can differ by a factor of more than 10x depending on the paper type

Here’s something I can across yesterday , this road sign is about ten years old, printed with pigment ink on vinyl, I’m guessing and it didn’t last, in this case the Media obviously didn’t suite the ink that was been used either.. The red has completely disappeared..

could it be that such sign without the red egde has a different meaning - e.g. a minimum speed ? Or what is the legality of such sign which does not comply with the graphics requirements anymore - is it still valid - do you still have to comply? Questions - questions - I'm glad I'm not printing for outdoor applications - only mineral/anorganic pigments should be used in such case.

It means whoever did this were a bunch of cheap skates and shouldn’t be let near ANY printer, they obviously didn’t know what the Feck they were doing.. Fading what's that, O' that will be extra..:hu

Well I reckoned it was inkjet, but if I was asked to do that job, I would have did it screen printing and done the job properly..

P.S. most just ignore the speed limits anyway..

Why I won't be driving in Ireland. Were these rules determined on the way home from the pub? And why are they driving against the arrows? Fer feck's sake, the arrow TIP is the direction of travel. Nuttier than a squirrel's cheeks in the fall.

When you’re coming back from the pub, you normally drive in the middle of the Feckin road, that way your never confused, and if you ever visit us @stratman, we can arrange a dedicated driver for you..:hugs

It takes years of training to drive on the Left..
