Of course Canon printers are much better (they don't misfeed and they don't bother with their noise) but the problem is Canon no longer innovates anything in the field. Shrinking cartridges and smartchips are no innovation.
It would be a service to printer users everywhere if some reviews on Amazon made it clear that even if you stick to OEM cartridges, these new printers require constant replacement of cartridges and subsequent cleaning cycles.
