hello everyone!
I am looking for a printer that can print on silk coated paper (or something similar but not as shiny as gloss!).
Paper weight, 170gsm, and need to print on custom sized 297mm by 630mm (three A4’s in one sheet). Either roll feed but ideally sheet feed, as they will come ready cut from my paper supplier.
I’ve found printers but I can’t believe they won’t allow longer sizes. Surely it’s just a matter of programming rather than hardware? Contacted Canon, HP, Brother and Epson, either they don’t have one or there crazy expensive, £1000+, one was £12,000! Ideally I’m looking at printers under £500. The Epson P6000 doesn’t print on silk sadly, but it does on gloss, surely if it can do gloss it can do silk?
As you can tell I’m new at all of this, any advise would be much appreciated.
