An inkjet photo printer with refillable ink that can handle 13x19 inch paper is a rare beast, so I may be at the end of what I can suggest.
If you back off on the max print size, paper thickness spec, choose cartridges instead of refillable, or allow a higher initial purchase price, you have many more options.

I suggest not having your present paper inventory influence you too much, as the paper is relatively inexpensive (that would be the tail wagging the dog).

I just wanted to let you know that I'm not trying to talk you into any particular decision. Just note that the HP Officejet Pro K8600 would probably be in the $600 range in today's dollars.

Also, I do not know how much you print now vs in the past. If it is a lot, the total cost of a cartridge-based printer would quickly be more expensive after a couple of sets of ink purchases.

Wish you the best in getting to your final decision and hope my thoughts have been helpful.

Very helpful, John, really appreciate it. I bit the bullet and ordered the Epson ET-8550 on Amazon for $650.. was a lot more than I wanted to spend, but I think it will be worth it. The scanner actually has very impressive specs too, so I am going to sell my Epson Perfection V600 on Ebay, can probably get about $150-200 for it as it's in excellent condition. The only draw back is I won't be able to scan transparencies, but I've done most of that already and I have a slide copy box I made for making copies of slides from my macro camera.
