Hi The Hat,

Yes I am currently printing the images in batches and immediately after proper drying, the pictures are currently being kept safely away covered and in dark. When all the inks have been put on the several types of paper, the testing can begin, so the amount of exposure will be the same.

Note: Netbit paper is supposedly the same as the Sihl paper, as they don't sell the Sihl paper anymore here in the belgian Aldi markets.

Epson, Canon, HP... A "few"
I just installed the waste ink tank from octoinkjet.co.uk, unfortunately the waste ink tubing is a bit short, leaving only 10 cm from the printer....

I contacted Martin to have some some extension or a longer version of the tubing.
..and it's on its way...

Unfortunately we haven't managed to source the tardis extension you were wanting to increase your storage/printer worktop space ;)

Meanwhile I already recieved the Inkowl fade resistant Claria compatible dye ink and refilled an empty set of cartridges with this particular refill ink. Using standard Epson profiles the prints were identical to the ones made with original Epson Claria ink, so color rendition is very good.

Here some pictures of the Inkowl Claria compatible (supposedly) fade resistant dye refill ink. It clearly says "Fade Resistant", so I wonder how fade resistant this ink is.

I expect to receive a set of OCP Claria compatible ink from Costadinos. The refillable cartridges (T0791-T0796) with auto-reset chips were obtained from www.coralgraph.com and were actually quite cheap: about €12 per set, making them one of the cheapest I could get in Europe. I am going to get an extra set of Coralgraph cartridges, which will be used to with the OCP Claria compatible ink from Costadinos.

It looks like you’re nearly good to go pharmacist, I hope you have all the photo paper you need because you’re going to be very busy trying to sort out the different paper and ink combinations not to mention the large display area.o_O

I’m very interested to see how this InkOwl Fade resistant ink goes in comparison to the other inks, but please don’t hurry your test I reckon we’ll just have to be patient..

Thanks CLS: I already will have 3 sets of refillable T079x cartridges. I am going to remove the inks after each session of profile making and test prints and clean the cartridges before refilling with the new one.

Whilst following pharmacist endeavours with great interest, I was interested in his link to the coralgraph refillable carts. I note they also do them for canon 521 carts, has anybody tried them?.

I realise epson are more forgiving than canon when it comes to refillable carts.

OK, sometimes postal services do have delivery problems, as the box of inks I could get from Costadinos is most likely lost during transit to Belgium, but luckily I could get a new set from him, for which many thanks !!! :thumbsup
