This is the seller in Germany from whom I've been purchasing Inktec for my Maxify the last 2 years.
No complains, genuine Inktec ink and fast delivery.
The labels of 1 liter bottles differ from the smaller ones. My guess is that he purchases 1 liter bottles from Inktec and then refills smaller bottles putting on them his own stickers with the 'printout24' brand at the bottom.

I expect though that shipping to USA won't be cheap.

Thanks Artur. I sent Inktec an email yesterday about any USA resellers/distributors that they have for Canon inks. This is the response...

Thanks for your inquiry.

We supply compatible Canon pigment ink to German customers but the bottle and label seem not ours but they usually subdivide themselves after getting 20L bulk of us. I will check on this with the customer and then let you know soon.

InkTec has dealers in the USA but they don't purchase Canon pigment ink.

How many bottles do you need? We will supply you only for this time for a small quantity if you are willing to place an order per carton for each color(a carton for each color includes 1L*10pcs).

Many thanks

So looks like I either buy their "small quantity" and try to resell it myself lol or I go with the German reseller on eBay.

4 X 8.5oz for $36.91 plus $29.72 shipping = $66.66 total.

Still not bad if Inktec is a recommended ink that should give me no issues when refilling OEM carts?

You can try asking the shop I linked here. They have more reasonable prices, the shipping is still going to cost a liver though.

I tried to refill the cartridges with recommended volumes by the seller of the refillables (110ml BK and 3x50ml CMY) and the starving issue resolved itself, even in long printjobs. When I was playing with the cartridges a bit I actually found out that contraction of the diaphragm is harder than usual so now I belive the intended use is 110ml -> 38ml left (chip declared emptyú -> refill back to 110ml for BK and similar for CMY. I have no overflowing of the nozzless, the artifacts pointed out that are likely due to damaged nozzless are still present but that has nothing to do with the ink now but rather the abuse in the past.

Mind you I am running this at my own risk as I am very well aware that I can be lucky now, refill later and absolutely soak my printer insides with overflowing ink, I just thought it may help and it did, at least for now.

If you decide to give a ping to the shop here and they actually reply they can, I personally would count the cost of ml with shipping costs included. You may find out that using local (Precision Colors) or OEM Megatank (GI-46) inks may end up more economically feasible for you with less hassle. And PC inks have a broader spectrum of users here, which can give advice in case of trouble.

EDIT : By harder than usual I meant in comparison to alternative cartridges.

FYI I switched also the yellow to Canon OEM GI-56 refill ink [€21.50 for 130ml) without any problems (after flushing the cart).
Wide format Canon ink was good too but too expensive [PFI-106 €60,50 for 130ml), I keep it for my PRO-10 (seems PGI-72 has been raised to €12.50/14ml).

The following and very long post might sound like one of my usual poor jokes, but it isn’t. All it’s true.

Two says ago I was printing with my Maxify MB5150, when a low level warning for the black color appeared on screen. I know by experience that the red X for empty cart would appear shortly and so it did, I proceeded to change the cart in the ‘orthodox’ way. No tricks to replace all the carts at once; only the black. After the customary priming/cleaning cycles, the first nozzle check showed some magenta contamination in the lower cyan stripe. It happens almost every time I change any cartridge, so I ran a cleaning cycle for the color carts and the second nozzle check was perfect.
Until now nothing, surprising you may say. Have patience, the plot twist is coming, but first it must be explained that I usually print in booklet mode : two DINA5 pages are printed on each side of a DINA4 sheet of paper. Thus, a single A4 sheet contains 4 pages of the document. This is set by default in the printer preferences. No need to set it every time I switch on the Maxify

After the cart. change, I resumed the printing job. Only a dozen or so more pages to go. When the first sheet appeared, to my astonishment, A5 pages were scaled up to A4 filling all the paper and only one side was printed.
WTF .I thought, you must have changed some setting in the printer (although I was 99.99% sure that this wasn’t the case).
I cancelled the printing and opened the driver settings. I couldn’t believe my eyes. of the six ‘page format’ settings, ‘booklet’, ‘poster’ and ‘page design’ had disappeared. Not greyed out, just gone. It only remained ‘normal’ ‘scaled’ and ’page design’.

During my long years dealing with computers I’ve seen strange things, but this one must be among the weirdest.
I browsed all the driver settings in all the tabs and nowhere I couldn’t find anything strange, Then I switched to MB5150 connected by USB cable, and everything was correct. No ‘kidnapped’ page format settings.
Being at a loss at what to do, I reinstalled the printer driver, selecting connection by wireless LAN. The ‘new’ Maxify appeared as ‘Canon MB5100 series printer copy’. No nasty surprises. ‘booklet mode’ and all other settings were back in town. I went to printer preferences, changed the name to ‘Canon MB5100-wifi’ and set it as my ‘default’ printer
I haven’t removed from the system the printer with the 'weird' driver. Just renamed it ‘Canon MB5100-limp’
So, now I have 3 different Maxify MB5150 which are physically the same :
MB5100-wifi, MB5100-USB and MB5100-limp.

Wondering if something of this kind has previously happened to any of you.
I still can’t find a possible explanation. It could be that the original driver had been replaced by a generic and downgraded driver?. but where that one came from and why it happened this reversion ?.
I didn’t install any program or change anything anywhere. Just replaced the empty black cart with a refilled one and I resumed printing the rest of the document. :idunno

Maybe someone hacked into your Wi-Fi..

That happened to me when I installed a new printer, (You must go online) and Canon Inc. reset all my printers to default and my colour setting were all gone.. No mystery..Shit happens..
P.S. Maybe you need to switch to Canon bottled inks..

Most probably the advanced functions were disabled. How and why I don't know.
Qimage does it every time, I have to enable them again in the printer properties (advanced tab).

I just save a few presets per printer for later use, all driver and format etc settings come back again this way.

Thanks a lot. You got it ! :)
Advanced functions were not enabled in the driver of the poor MB5100-limp. Setting them back on restored the missing printing modes.
Just in case, I checked the properties of the Pro-10s. and those advanced functions were already enabled, although I use Qimage to print photos with this printer. So it seems that only the Maxify driver is vulnerable to the insidious attacks of Qimage ?
