I have a load of other things I'm working on which I know will not get done if I start on 3D printing.

Well, this ended up being my 6th print after all of this other stuff.

The good news is that I was able to print the small nut as a test in only about 5 minutes (that's crazy)... but unfortunately it's the wrong size for the bolts on my toilet seat, which are much smaller.

I'm going to have to get some calipers and take some measurements!

The nut itself is the easy and I used a tape measure for mine, but to get the right thread length, I altered the height of the nut to extent the gap between the threads and it worked, the taller the nut the more gap there is between the threads.

Once your satisfied you have the right dimension then you’ll need to increase the build quality to strengthen the nut...
I'm just desperately trying to think of reasons not to buy one of these things. I have a load of other things I'm working on which I know will not get done if I start on 3D printing.
If you get this printer then forget about everything else, your hooked...
