Look what arrived yesterday!

I'm not about to start a project of replacing anything until I absolutely need to, but for the price, it was hard to pass up and not have it on hand.

Looks as good as original if not better, but don’t be in a rush to test it out, a complete spare head I reckon isn’t essential but very handy to have in reserve, I’ve ordered two and extra parts, it’s a no brainer because of the price and free delivery...

While I’m waiting on my new parts to arrive I plan on upgrading the CR-10 platform with two extra rails on the outer edges to make the platform that bit more stable, I’ll make a new thread and include a couple of photos of the upgrade, in about a fortnight, I'll be getting the parts from here... http://www.robotshop.com/eu/en/

I've seen some printed bed screws that people have fitted to the CR-10 as they found on very long prints that the bed screws were loosening and causing problems. Might be worth checking them out on thingiverse ;)

That’s exactly what I need right now.... :hugs

It doesn’t rain but it pours, I’ve been using my Mini MP as much as I can and now reckoned I buggered up the hot-end on it, regardless of which settings I use my projects are all very rough looking with slight holes in them.

Normally a quick head purge and a slightly higher working temp. works, but I reckon I have worn the Friggin thing out, I can hear the filament extruder stalling during a print run, and that’s usually a sure sign of a head clog, but it’s not.

If I don’t get some parts soon, I’ll go on hunger strike, because a day without 3D printing something is a wasted day... :hit :barnie
I’ll just have to go back to inkjet printers.. :(

At least the smell of burning plastic has stopped drifting across the Irish Sea to southern UK. :)

But you can't buy spare parts in China :).

The problems I have with Apps like Autodesk 360, is if I buy them and then find I don’t like or I’m too stupid to use them properly, once they get technical, I’m lost, I’m not even as intelligent as Einstein’s cat...

Tinkercad was hard enough to use, I could barely get by using that one, but I always drift back to OpenCad, because I find it much easier than most of the others, I like to stick with the Freeware Apps that way, I don’t get influenced by their cost...

Hear what you are saying Hat ;) The only reason I suggested Fusion was that you were bored waiting for the parts but also you can actually use it for free as a hobbyist ;)
