MX850/MP830 new ones avail ?? office depot head fake - premium ??

thought i found something here to share, looked like office depot had new MX850's and MP830's available:

- MX850 $199 - http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/107015/Canon-Pixma-MX850-Office-All-In/
- MP830 $249 - http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/471602/Canon-PIXMA-MP830-Color-All-In/

turned out that they are "out of stock" and suggests to buy the MX860....

arghh... lower quality and smaller carts....

just curious if anyone has seen "new" ones out there and if they are selling at a premium

my MP830 is over 2+ years old, 21,000 pages printed, refilled its cartridges 136 times, german method w/squeeze bottles, still refilling the orig 4 CLI8 carts. see pics/thread - http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4450

my orig MP830 print head died just short of 20,000 pages. oh and this was a refurb'd MP830, i picked up for $99

i contacted canon to see what my options were, nice surprise when they then sent me a brand new MP830 print head free of charge !!!

part of their " Canon's Loyalty Program". had never heard of it, but glad i asked, for more details see:

It is completely irrelevant that in the stock the required and the best models available and the shop is offering the other model and telling lie that it is out of stock. Users should protest against such malpractices and shoul not purchase any thing from that shop complete ban of their products.
