On my printers using Photoshop with a text and photo document converted to a PNG it prints using the pigment black only when set to greyscale..

Thanks all for the advice given here.
I finally found a printer with the same head for sale on ebay and took a chance that it didn't have a head fault.
Helpful seller sent me just the head for 7.50.
Don't know what I'll do when this one packs up, it's a great cheap printer to run.

There is too much green in the photos on my Canon Pixma MP760 after changing the blue cartridge and going through the maintenance cleaning process, images also have fine lines running across them. It was fine before.

If you have a problem with one or more of your colours you should not print anything other than a nozzle check
until you can resolve the problem. (This will prevent further damage to your print head)

The most lightly cause of the colour changes in your photos would be down to the magenta cartridge and not your cyan.

Change the magenta cartridge and do a standard head clean on the colours,
then do a nozzle check and see if your magenta has returned,
can you post the nozzle check on here tomorrow or the next day so we can examine it properly for you.

There happens to be a waiting period on this forum so you wont be able to post your image for 24/48 hours,
in the mean time can you tell us about your setup please.

Which cartridges and inks are you using do you refill your own cartridges or do you buy already prefilled compatible ones ?.
