MP610 new printhead test print NG--what to do?

Just got my new printhead today. Got this result. Ran a cleaning. Most of the PGBK lines look nicer now, but the ones that are missing are still totally missing (picture is the 2nd test print).

Time to return it?

It could be the pigment cartridge thats causing you problems,
try changing it for a new one and print another nozzle print..

To clarify--go buy another PGBK cartridge and try it again?

I have never seen a nozzle check that looked like that. It's not obviously an electrical problem but it could be. I would let it sit for a day and see if it improves.

With 2 columns completely missing, it almost has to be a decoding error (electrical problem) in the print head. It's hard to imagine that exactly every 32nd nozzle isn't printing due to a clog or ink starvation.

my vote is electronic issue is at hand with some decoding issue. The odds are too slim to be a clog.
