Mg5350 Line Feed Problem

Is that what you’d call a printer with a feed problem or an over fed problem ?

I don't like that idea neither. Canon printers should be used as intended for plain paper documents, photos and CD/DVD's if the printer has this capability, but not for edible material. See this thread about cake printing: http://www.printerknowledge.com/threads/edible-inks.8153/

Good information in your link. I like my cakes old fashioned - decorated by hand and without fondant.

Fault #2. Wouldn't run the Canon Service Tool - flashes the orange lamp (4 flashes) when trying to enter service mode.

Hi Ian,
you mentioned the Cannon Service Tool, can you point me to where I can get this useful utility or download link / dropbox / email / other ?
I have the same printer which is working but does get dirty on the black print head but in the future might have your problem.

I cannot tell you the procedure for entering the service mode, as the service manual seems nowhere to be found. If you have questions about service mode and service operations for your printer, please post them in the "Canon service tool v2000" thread.
