Old-time Apple user, even before Macs ;-)
My wonderful Epson Workforce color printer, scanner, copier etc. FAILED.
So I'm now fighting with a new Espon ET-4850 color inkjet and it's problematic.
The least of its problems is a non-standard ethernet port - smaller than any connector on any ethernet cable I have. Any ideas where to get a cable with a smaller connector, or maybe just an adapter?
So glad to have a group to commiserate with ;-)

I found a YouTube video showing the install of the printer using LAN connection. At 2:01 the LAN cable is clearly shown and to me the connector looks normal, not smaller than usual?

The printer also has fax function and that uses a telephone line that has a connector similar to the LAN connector but smaller. Could this be the problem?

Except for the weird port in the picture I sent, the rest all look like phone ports.
I like to have wired connections to any of my peripherals, but this one will be fine with wireless
