Looking for replacement inks in Europe

I have to say... from a purely selfish perspective, I think it would be useful, even if it were able to provide relevant clues to important differences..

eg: Epson D88 in the UK is the same as the USA C88... etc... and when it comes to finding suppliers, etc... well it'd help enormously..

Just to note that I finally got some pricing and a confirmation of a bulk ink supplier available in Europe that resells the same inks are MIS associates.

I'll not share the pricing as it's in bulk (minimums of 1 litre) and I'm not entirely sure if it's for my own reference but if you contact Gemini Colours in Holland (http://www.refillink.biz) they should be able to help.

I was able to confirm that not only do they offer Epson dyebase and pigment inks but also the original Canon inks plus those of the newer sets like the CL-5 & CL-8.

When I lived in the UK I got good service from System Insight
but that was a few years ago.

System Insight still sells Canon equivalent carts but they are quite expensive.

I used to use inkyJet carts from Choice Stationary Supplies at 1.50. They were for Canon IP4000 and were excellent. But Choice have now changed to another supplier that use a larger tank - though I heard of a couple of instances of leaking outlets because the shape had been changed.

These people can supply Canon BCI-3 & BCI-6 replacement carts for around 1.60 each, but I havent tried them. http://happyprinter.co.uk/catalog/index.php

When I found a UK bulk supplier for Canon pigment and dye based inks, I decided to go that route. I got a 3 colour x 50ml refill kit (14) as a trial from

This I am using now and Im very pleased with the ink, so I will continue to use them. They can also supply individual inks in 100ml (7) or in 250ml at 12.
