Well, I've just gone out and bought me four packs. Should keep me in printing euphoria for a while. Thanks for the heads up! I had been using some paper under the name of Unicorn, which I believe came from either Lidl or Aldi - I can't remember. That was okay, but this is even better!£4.99 for 50 sheets!
So what are your recommended driver settings to produce the best results with this paper, or have you got this paper profiled?@Artur5, That’s your choice, I use it all the time and can’t get enough of it...
I never use any 3rd party profiles, I just set to glossy paper, end of story..So what are your recommended driver settings to produce the best results with this paper, or have you got this paper profiled?
Works for me! Thank you.I never use any 3rd party profiles, I just set to glossy paper, end of story..
Following on from what you were discussing in the other thread, I thought I'd run a little comparison test on the different Canon paper settings using a single A4 sheet of inexpensive photo paper and a purge test pattern as the image. It's interesting to see the variation in intensity and colour shades, and of course the plain paper image is markedly vibrant - I suppose in an attempt to overcome the bleaching effect plain paper has when using dye inks. I shall use this as a guide when using third party papers. It’s not always the print driver that works out which black ink it will use, you can make the decision yourself by selecting which media to use and that will over ride both the Application and printer’s choice.
