Laserjet ink warning - replace straight away or wait till it stops?

I have a Dell laserjet

I got a warning saying one of the inks was low
With inkjet, I know you're not supposed to continue printing - the print head will go

Is it a similar thing with laserjets?

From my limited experience of toner based systems, be they a photocopier or a laser printer you can run it till it wont print any more, including the old trick of removing the toner cart and giving it a shake if printouts start to get patchy.
