Hi everyone, I know this has been discussed before in the forum, but a reminder is always useful.
I got my first head clog on an Epson R2000 printer. I try one clean + nozzle check... worse... another one... worse again! I decide not to run a third clean. I turn it off and let it sit overnight. No improvement.
That's when I decided to simply clean the parking pad. This probably should have been step one before even running a first head clean. I pressed the ink change button to release the head and unplugged the power. Dropped a few MLs of distilled water to soak up the parking pads and then used paper towels to absorb the ink.
Plug the printer back in, run a single head clean.. nozzle check... voila. good as new.
