Actually, the request is using my real name and my real facebook profile, but I mentioned my nickname in the request as most know me by my nickname in the printerknowledge.com website (as a reference for the moderator).

Have sent a request to FB admin directly to see if they can throw any light on the subject.

Being curious I also asked a friend (No laughing The Hat ) to attempt to join, he has had no luck either.

TBH, I rarely visit but I am now beginning to wonder if Jose just leaves the group to get on with it without much in the way of input?

Perhaps it might be worth posting a comment via one of the most recent YouTube videos.

FB made a bunch of changes to the pages and groups that make navigation of the back-end system a bit more challenging of late so it may be a lack of awareness more than anything.

You expect there are other moderators of the group who can manage the requests too. If only José is the only one who can do this, that would very inconvenient since there is no backup to oversee the the group.
