Well, arent we smart!!!!!

I was somewhat suspicious of the sticker, but not enough to see what was under it!!!!! In my defense I was in the let us ask questions first mode and then I would progress to the let us take it apart mode.

Thank you, jimbo123!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are pictures of the screws and the inside of the resetter:

Questions:

1. How do you get access to the batteries?
2. How careful do you have to be with the printed circuit board?
3. Are there any delicate wires that you have to be aware of when accessing the batteries?
4. What is the name, type, number, cost, etc. of the batteries?

In short, more pictures, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Depending on the cost of the batteries it may be cheaper to buy a new resetter from Amazon. The total cost of the resetter was $12.50!!!!!

How sweet it is, indeed!!!!!!

Thank you.

the yellow circuit board is just resting on those 4 blue prongs, just lift it out by the corners

turn it over and you'll see the 3 batteries, pry up one end of each battery holder and push/slide battery out (since you like pics, see pic)

looks like the battery is an AG3 (see pic)

i buy all my button batteries on ebay, saves time driving, aggravation, etc to find correct size etc.

here is a link for 10 AG3s for $.99 incl shipping

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?rt=nc&L...mpt=US_Batteries&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283

does this help ?

Thank you for the pictures of the batteries and circuit board. And yes the pictures helped alot!!!!

Based on your notes I will see if I can purchase the AG3 batteries from a local store. If not, I will go to eBay.

The reason that I wanted to have pictures of the batteries and circuit board is because of my experience with my TIMEX watch. The battery in the watch was dying so I went to the local mall to buy a new battery. A jeweler at a store said she could replace the battery for me. Well, to make a long story short, she was only half-way successful. She broke one of the arms on the batterys holder and the seal around the back did not work. The first time I took a shower water got in behind the seal and caused the watch too short out (when I take a shower I do not remove my watch).

If someone wants to replace a battery in a digital watch, I suggest that you go online and see how to replace a battery in a digital watch. Trust me, the battery in most digital watches were not made to be removed. Save yourself some grief and just go and buy a new watch!!!!

Jimbo123, from what I can see it should be pretty straightforward in replacing the batteries. I only need to pay attention in how the batteries are held in place by their holders.

Again, thank you for the pictures and information.

The side with the writing goes right side up. After purchasing the correct battery, that's all there is to remember.

My Chinese no-name chip resetter supposedly uses CR2032 button battery replacements (never replaced yet!), same as my motherboard's BIOS battery backup (have replaced).
