The ink in the BK cartridge will be depleted by future cleaning cycles but since you won't be printing on photo paper, it won't matter to you. Don't buy another BK cartridge, it would be a waste of money. If you have a resetter, just reset the one you have, with or without refilling, or you could refill it with Windex, just don't use the same ink that you put in the PGBK cartridge. The BK nozzles may get worse, but it won't effect the other colors and the printer won't be compromised by them.
One more thing, you won't be able to do borderless printing on plain paper, something the printer will alert you to if you try, because if you go ahead an do it, the printer will switch from the pigment ink (PGBK) to the dye ink (BK).
