IP3000 rejects Printable cd's

My Ip3000 is rejecting printable cd's with error as non printable and ejects.
How do I trouble shoot this problem?? Thanks in advance for help. Chris.

What kind of CD tray you use?

I am still using the original cd tray that came with the printer. Type B

The reflectors are dirty.
You did not put a printable CD in the tray.
The CD sensor has a 0000 value (check it in service mode).
The CD sensor is broken.

Open the cover, push down the switch, start a CD printing job. Watch for the red light (the CD sensor) and how it moves around to find the reflectors and the disk. Then you'll have a much better idea for what's wrong.
