Inkjet printer recommendations please.

I want to replace my printer, ideally with one which can print directly on a c.d. or d.v.d. - if they are still available. I would also like it to have 5 or 6 ink cartridges, and, if reasonably priced, to accommodate A3 paper too.

Can those requirements be met in a machine costing no more than about £150 ?

If, as I suppose, they can't, which of those requirements would I have to sacrifice in order to meet the budget?

I am getting tired of countless internet searches which ignore requirements included in the search terms.

I'll second Tigerman's suggestion, if you can get it at it's current US price of $100 after a $300 rebate in the UK.

The Canon one only prints. I really need a multi-function machine - one that scans too.

The only advertisements I can find in the U.K. for the HP one have a MUCH higher price than that.

Hmm. I've never run across a scanner/printer combination machine that can print A3 paper. How about a separate scanner and an A3 printer? If the Pixma Pro 100 rebate offer is available in the UK you'd be hard pressed to find a better dye A3 printer at any price, and you'd have saved enough to buy a decent scanner. Just a thought....
