Would it be possible to print photos without pigment black cartrige inserted?
I have BW laser printer for text, so maybe it is not necessary to buy PGI-520?
You can certainly print photos without the use of pigment black ink but youll still need a complete set of cartridges
to be installed in your printer before it will allow you to print anything.

If you find the empty cartridge route to expensive then why not buy filled compatible cartridges
to use once and dispose of + you wont need to buy a resetter either.

Buying empty OEM cartridges, a resetter and 3rd party inks are not the cheapest way to start into good quality printing,
but if you want to be able to print your photos at very low cost then it is.

In six months time youll be asking yourself why the hell you didnt do it earlier
because the savings are huge and the experience is most enjoyable.
Happy Printing..:)
Ok, then I'll buy 4 OEM CLI-521 carts for photo, and one PGI-520 compatable cart. Would it be OK?
I certainly want to print photos with OEM carts.

Would it not make more sense to just get a full set of OEM's and not have to pay for two separate P&P?:idunno
