ink shelf life ? 2 year old OCP ink, hmmm......

i have some unopened OCP PGI-BK ink that is nearly 2 years old. i know ink manufactures usually warranty a 2 year shelf life.

Qs
- anyone using ink over 2 years old ??
- does the fact that it is unopened push the shelf life out further ?

hate to toss out 16oz of OCP ink. been using hobbicolors for 4+ years with great results. so if i have a problem won't know if its OCP ink or its ink age

thoughts ?

If it's never been oppened till now it should be fine. Check it for any precipitation or odd look to it.

Some of my inks are well over two years old and opened; I have not had any problems YET
